Welcome to the Jappatin website.
The affix Jappatin derives from an amalgamation of names from myself Patrick and my wife Janine. The affix was first registered with the English Kennel Club in 1989 where we exhibited Bull Terriers and enjoyed success with our breed Champion Jappatin Mystery Girl she was the first bitch to win a group at South Wales Championship Show and went on to Best of Breed at Crufts in 1998, her son went on to be a American Champion.

In 1997 while exhibiting at the National Terrier we saw and fell in love with what was then called the Parson Jack Russell Terrier being judged by the late George Simpson (Howlbeck), and in 1998 bought our first puppies from the Jagen Kennels.
Since returning home in 2003 we have had the opportunity to introduce the Barsetta line and are very grateful to Barbara and her Barsetta Kennels for the loan of Barsetta Quattro who was mated to Jappatin Debonair Girl with great success producing the first ever Irish bred Champion Jappatin Polar Ice in 2006.
His Daughter CH Jappatin Masquerade also making breed history being the first Irish bred bitch to be crowned Irish Champion in 2007.

It is pleasing to say that Jappatin are the top winning Parson Russell Terrier Kennel in the Republic of Ireland and the only Kennel to have bred and owned Champions in the Republic. We also exhibit Rottweiler's and made up our first Champion Aljamalynne Menphis Bell at Jappatin in 2006.
